Anyone who’s worked with Progressive Pest Control for a few years knows what an amazing lady we have in Judy Altman-Rhea. She decided to get her college degree at age 33, so she enrolled at Arkansas State University in 1995 and graduated with a degree in social work. But when she came to Georgia to see her first grandbaby, she fell in love with the people here (and we’re sure that sweet little granddaughter looking up at her had something to do with it, too). She started at Progressive Pest Control in 1999 as our office manager and client touchstone. She loved digging into our clients needs to make sure our office runs smoothly and we exceed client expectations at every turn (and getting to be so close to her three grandkids didn’t hurt!)
After taking a fall a few years ago, Judy had to retire. But she thinks of our team often and misses the customers she got to speak with on a regular basis.
Dear Progressive Pest Control family,
As many of you know, I fell backwards 3 years ago. My lumbar struck the edge of the curb causing a fracture of the L3. Since then I have not been able to sit up, stand up or walk but I can move my left leg freely and the right leg is limited.
Finally, I have a wheelchair, a motorized wheelchair, a hover lift, and still the wrong lift pad. This lift causes me to lay as if I were in a cocoon. The correct lift will cause me sit up and be dropped into my chair. Patience is a virtue. Oh well!
Michael has told me about the clients that still ask about me. These calls encourage me. So I wanted to let you know I am still positive, mostly. I have a new team of doctors. I look forward to working with them.
Thank you for all your care and concern. Your kindness is appreciated.
Judy, you are greatly missed! The office may not be the same without Judy’s friendly demeanor, but scheduling a pest control appointment is easy. Simply fill out your problem online and let us know the best time for your service. Have a question? Call Progressive Pest Control.
